The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index yesterday rose by over 30 points after Argus Insurance gained $2.50.

Argus' price rose by more than ten percent to close at $25.50, and Bermuda Container Line gained 25 cents to finish at $11.75, while LOM lost 25 cents to close at $3.75.

The index gained 0.93 percent or 30.16 points to close at 3,287.87 on volume of 19,700 shares worth $390,635.
