Shareholders have approved the liquidation of Bermuda-based BCS Investments Limited, and subsequently its delisting from the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The developments mark the final chapter for a company that has, over the last 15 months paid out the value of the shares to investors in several installments.

The company's name was changed to BCS Investments Limited in October, 2003 after it sold off going concern Bermuda Computer Services Limited that same month.

The final dividend to shareholders, following a January 25 vote on the company's wind-up, was anticipated to be $1 per share or $300,000 in total.

Gallagher profit falls

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) ? Insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. posted a slightly lower fourth-quarter profit amid softening rates in the marketplace that offset gains in brokerage and risk management revenue.

Net income fell to $49.1 million, or 52 cents per share, from $49.2 million, or 53 cents per share, a year ago, the company said this week. Revenue rose to $386.9 million from $365.5 million.
