Bermudians added to Aardvark team
Aardvark Communications is gearing up to meet ambitious growth targets, with the hiring of two more advertising professionals.
Aardvark yesterday said it was adding the two Bermudian employees ? Honey Adams and Nikita Simons ? to its team of 11 in order to improve client service and in its effort to grow business.
Nikita Simons joins the creative team as a graphic designer. Nikita has six years of experience working on the Island for companies including Capital G, Gibbons Company, Burrows Lightbourn, Ariel Sands and Colonial Insurance. She graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
And returning to Aardvark after a stint with Government is Honey Adams, who comes back to the company as head of business. Ms Adams worked for Aardvark Communications until November, 2002 when she took a leave of absence to work for the Government Department of Communication and Information. In her new role, her objective is to help the company meet its ambitious growth forecast of 25 percent.
Managing director Ben Fairn said: ?The advertising market in Bermuda is definitely becoming more aggressive in terms of the competition out there and the opportunities that are presenting themselves to us.
?In order to ensure that we can take advantage of these whilst maintaining the high levels of service that we provide to our existing client base, we need to grow our staff. The two new members we have taken on both have a wealth of experience in Bermuda and will be a huge asset to the company.?
