The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday moved up 8.98 points to close at 3,213.42.

The Bank of Butterfield saw trading of 3,256 shares while the bank's share price held steady at $44.25.

Bermuda Commercial Bank also saw strong volume in trading yesterday with 3,000 shares moving and a 30 cent gain on the share value, closing up at $10.

BCB's warrants also gained 50 cents to close at $2 while 4,300 traded.

Meanwhile, Argus Insurance saw trading of 600 of its shares while Bermuda Container Line's saw 100 shares change hands and a healthy price gain as the shares closed up $2.50 to $12.
