Butterfield shares lead BSX

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index last week moved up 27.997 points to close on Friday at 3,263.89.

Butterfield Bank investors led trading with buying and selling 20,226 shares while pushing up the bank?s share price 75 cents to $41.75.

Bermuda Commercial Bank saw 2,300 of its ordinary shares move, falling off$1 to $9. A whopping 23,000 of BCB?s preferred shares also moved. Those shares closed up 15 cents to$1.75.

Meanwhile, 4,800 shares changed hands at Bermuda Bakery while gaining $15,or 33 percent, in value to end the week trading at $60.

Argus Insurance shares moved up five cents in trading last week to $25.05 on total trading of 1,012 shares.

And KeyTech ? the parent company of BTC, Mobility and Logic Communications ? saw 4,400 shares change hands while the trading price fell 25 cents to $10.
