Mr. and Mrs. Michael Manning of Scientists' Cliffs, Maryland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Manning to 2nd Lt. Brian Riva, son of Col. and Mrs. Denis P. Riva (USAF Ret.) of Lake Ridge, Virginia.

Miss Manning is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Robin Lang. She graduated from Episcopal High School and Bucknell Universary and worked as the Assistant Director of Alumni and Parent Programs for Episcopal. She is currently the Registrar of Virginia College in Pensacola, Florida.

2nd Lt. Riva graduated from St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School and Gettysburg College. He is presently serving in the United States Marine Corp as an aviator in Pensacola. A June wedding is planned.

Brock Jacob Griffis graduated from Coast High School in Florida on May 17, 2005. Brock is the grandson of Jeanie Griffis, and the great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred (Frudae) Mello of 11 Mission Crescent, Paget.

Brock received his High School Diploma with honours. He won a four-year scholarship and will be attending Jacksonville University in the fall of 2005.
