Lawyer Shaun Morris could be named as the new chairman of CedarBridge Academy's Board of Governors next week.

Deputy chairman since his appointment to the board in January, Mr. Morris has worked closely with past chairman Garry Madeiros and with newly appointed principal, Kalmar Richards.

Mr. Morris was president of the Berkeley Alumni Association from 1995-1997. He was also an active member of the Berkeley Educational Society in those years.

Mr. Morris, 39, is partner of law firm Appleby, Spurling & Kempe. He is married with two young children and lives in Smith's Parish.
