Developers have submitted plans to increase a three-storey building overlooking Crow Lane by two more floors.

Wilder Investments wants to expand the commercial and residential accommodation at 'The Mount', which lies between Cavendish Road and Lane Hill, Pembroke. The application to Planning consists of renovating two commercial storeys and adding another three to create seven family-sized apartments, five of which have three bedrooms.

In a statement Wilder Investment Ltd. says: "The site is unique in its location and topography and lends itself to a more dense residential style of development. The mixed-use development strategy is proven successful in suburban scenarios such as this and we submit that this proposal fits within the context of the area in terms of both form and function."
