A:<$> No, but the singer is expected to guest-star on an episode of CSI: New York, playing a character other than herself. She's a fan of the show, and once she made her interest known, the producers snapped her up. Her episode is expected to air in February, during the rati-measuring sweeps period.

A:<$> The drama, about life behind the scenes of a TV sketch show, has been the subject of much cancellation talk, due to its low ratings and hardly overwhelming critical reaction. NBC has decided to stick with it, though, and at press time, executives were deciding whether to keep it in its current time slot or move it, but they did commit to a full season of episodes.
Q: I think actreHelen Mirren is so fantastic on Prime Suspect. Is this really the finalries of the show? — K.M.
A:<$> Apparently, yes. Mirren (pictured right), also winning raves on screen in The Queen, has sed that the seventh instalment of Prime Suspect, which recently aired on PBS, is the late time she will appear as Detective Jane Tennison. Her portrayal of the London policewoman who rose through the ranks has, indeed, been one of her greatest performances.
