Lyrics from popular rap music was spray painted onto the front entrance of the Lagoon Park Pre-school in Craddock Road, Sandys. Staff also discovered that a sliding glass door was smashed when they arrived for work on Monday.

Despite the vandalism Police said that no one appears to have entered the school.

School cleaners and a crew from Works and Engineering worked quickly on Monday painting over the offensive graffiti, cleaning up the broken glass and replacing the sliding door.

Thirty children between the ages of four and five attend the preschool but the incident did not hamper school activities.

A spokesman said that the children were simply moved to an unaffected room.
