to court over a $400,000 mortgage dispute.

Mr. Pearman issued the Supreme Court writ yesterday through his lawyers at Francis and Forrest.

He claimed the three defendants were behind with repayments on a mortgage he had lent them.

Now Charlotte Naomi Davis, Marsta Davis Perinchief and Stephen Perinchief will have to answer the action.

It is understood the trio used Mr. Pearman's money to buy a house called Ariel View in Devonshire.

Mr. Pearman told The Royal Gazette : "I gave them a mortgage but they are way behind with the interest.

"It's pretty close to $400,000 -- it's three-hundred-and-ninety something, so the lawyers tell me.

"These things don't bother me particularly and I have several mortgages and loans out there as business deals. But when you are owed money you are owed money.''
