Hallowe'en pranksters are gearing up for their big night after stealing between 1,000 and 3,000 pounds of pumpkins from a farm in Sandys.
The Hog Bay Park farmer told Police the thefts have occurred over the past three weekends when he noticed his pumpkin patch had become a playground for thieves.
Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for any unscrupulous thieves who might be selling pumpkins at less than market value.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Somerset Police Station at 295-0011.
