Three men appeared in Magistrates’ Court today, charged with offences relating to an alleged fight at Cup Match.

Psanto Eve, 18, Dwayne Signor, 27, and Jahkeil Samuels, 24, pleaded not guilty to the charges, related to an alleged brawl at Wellington Oval on Friday, July 31.

Eve, from Princess Street, Pembroke, was charged with seven offences — taking part in a fight, riotous behaviour, escaping custody, violently resisting arrest, stealing alcohol, wielding a glass bottle as an offensive weapon, and wielding a shovel as an offensive weapon.

Samuels, also from Princess Street, was charged with helping Eve escape custody and wilfully obstructing an officer.

Signor, from Governors Alley St. George’s, was charged with taking part in a fight and riotous behaviour.

Eve and Signor were remanded in custody. Samuels was granted bail in the amount of $5,000.
