Bermuda women recognised by Citywealth magazine
The International Financial Centres’ Power Women Top 100 list includes seven Bermuda-based ‘influencers and professionals’They are Angela Burchall, a senior trust officer with HSBC Bermuda, Linda Longworth, managing director of Hamilton Trust Company Bermuda, Pearline McIntosh, vice president, deputym anaging director of trust services, at Butter?eld Trust Bermuda, Vanessa Schrum, head of private client and trusts at Appleby Bermuda, Diane Stirling, a senior trust officer with HSBC Private Bank Bermuda, Tracy Tepper, chief executive officer and president of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Trust (Bermuda) Ltd, and Michelle Wolfe managing director of Meritus Bermuda. Appleby’s which is based in Bermuda, had four partners from around the globe recognised.The list was compiled by Citywealth magazine, and was released with their July issue. It is the first time the publication has undertaken this project.Citywealth stated: “The list focuses on influencers as well as professionals and celebrates powerful women from diverse backgrounds in government, private wealth, private client advisory and philanthropy across the international financial centres.”They continued: “It recognises women of achievement who are opinion formers, helping to promote business excellence in their home jurisdiction and consolidating the reputations of the financial services industry globally.”They also stated: “Part of the research was generated by the 2013 edition of the Citywealth Leaders List. This was combined with recommendations from leading figures in the financial services industry to widen the list to include women of influence in the major IFCs.”
