PwC offers students a ‘head start’
Professional services firm PwC is to offer students a head start in the sector.
The global company has invited students attending or considering university to attend a special networking event on Friday.
PwC Bermuda director David Gibbons said: “In a challenging global job market, it is vitally important for young people to make contact with potential employers as early as possible and fully understand the opportunities available to them.”
The event — under the “HeadStart” banner — will be held at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club on Pomander Road, Paget, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
A spokeswoman for PwC said: “Bermuda students can gain a unique insight into the firm and discover the exciting available through the HeadStart initiative.”
She added: “They will also have the opportunity to meet PwC’s accounting students and staff, catch up with former classmates and discover all the career opportunities available to them at PwC, including our associates and summer intern programmes and scholarship awards.”
Anyone who wants to attend should contact Risa Hunter on 295-200, extension 7422 or e-mail pwcbermuda.student@bm.pwc.com.
