Well known chef Fred Ming was understood to be fighting for his life after a serious accident on South Shore Road, Smiths yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Ming's bike collided with another cycle on South Shore Road near the Collectors Hill Apothecary.

Last night Mr. Ming of Hamilton Parish was in critical condition with head injuries and the other rider received a minor scratch on his forehead.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should contact P.c. Shantia Furbert at 297-1122.
