The Bermuda branch of the Institute of Directors has launched its own website with information on professional courses and events.Rochelle Simons, chairwoman of the IoD branch, along with Sara Schroter and Michelle Cardwell, members of the executive Committee of the IoD and who have been coordinating the new site, said they were very excited about the launch.Ms Simons said: “We wanted to make the new website easy to navigate and provide more of a Bermuda look, with local updates and events along with links to Institute of Directors in London.“We strive to offer the best information we can to IoD Bermuda members. It’s important for us to make information regarding professional director development courses, services and events easily accessible to current and future members.”While Mrs Cardwell said: “The new website provides the business community with access to information about who we are, how we work, case studies, webinars, expertise and services, our people, and an events page as well as links to for renewing and applying for membership.“We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, company announcements and member successes.“Also, be sure to visit the website to see information on the upcoming IoD half day virtual Corporate Governance conference slated for November 3.
