Daniel's Head to be photographed
Canadian Forces Station at Daniel's Head, Sandys, on Sunday in order to take aerial photographs of the base.
Major Gilbert Helmkay said area residents should not be concerned if they see the aircraft flying between 300-500 feet over the base. The aircraft, which is similar to a US Navy P3-Orion, is expected to make six passes around midday.
He said if the weather was unsatisfactory, the flights would take place on Tuesday. He said the photographs were routine.
Daniel's Head is scheduled to close by the end of 1993. Normal operations at the communications base will end on June 30, 1993.

SOCIAL INQUIRY REPORT ORDERED CTS Social inquiry report ordered A social inquiry report was ordered in Magistrates' Court yesterday for a Warwick Secondary student who admitted possessing cannabis.
The court heard 16-year-old Damon DeRoza of Warwick committed the offence while on probation for a previous offence.
Sgt. Rex Osborne, prosecuting, said DeRoza was seen by Narcotics Officers standing with a group of people on Crawl Hill in Hamilton Parish at about 10 p.m. on January 20.
Officers searched DeRoza and found a brown twist containing plant material later found to weigh .28 grammes.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis bailed DeRoza in the sum of $300 plus a like surety and ordered him to appear in court again on May 13.

DRINK-DRIVER DISPUTES READING CTS Drink-driver disputes reading A reading of 200 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood was recorded when 28-year-old Wilfred Gibbons blew into the breathalyser, Magistrates' Court heard yesterday.
Gibbons, of St. George's, pleaded guilty to driving while drunk on March 21.
The court heard Gibbons had been involved in a single vehicle accident on St.
David's Road at about 2.20 a.m.
When Police attended the scene of the accident they found a very drunk Gibbons, Sgt. Rex Osborne, prosecuting, said. He was arrested and taken to the St. George's Police Station.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis asked Gibbons if he realised 200 milligrams was "about the highest reading'' the machine could record.
Gibbons replied he did not think the reading was correct but was pleading guilty anyway.
Mr. Francis fined him $400 and disqualified him from driving for a year.
AUDITIONS FOR SUMMER SHOW THR Auditions for summer show Chameleon Productions is looking for actors, singers and dancers to take part in its second annual City Hall revue, entitled "The Many Moods of Man''.
Chameleon partner Mr. Alan Smith, who wrote the show, said it consists of song, dance, drama and poetry and will be performed on August 28 and 29. The show will be choreographed by Ms April Choudhury.
Auditions will be held on May 16 and possibly on May 23. Chameleon Productions is also looking for backstage and front of house staff.
