The IWC's donation to the Bermuda Maritime Museum will be used for the production of a children's picture history book based on the Graham Foster mural '400 Years of Bermuda History'.
The contribution to the Women's Resource Centre will assist in the development of a children's abuse and violence prevention programme.
The IWC-Bermuda currently has more than 250 members from 18 countries. It is a social club where women new to the Island can make friends, and also has a variety of weekly activities for members ranging from golf clinics to book clubs, from art to Mah Jong, from walking to boating and tennis.
