Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning yesterday said the officer investigating the fatal accident that occurred on Harbour Road last Saturday morning thanked the public for coming forward "as a result of media appeals'' which were "very helpful to the investigation and specifically for a man wearing a beige jacket who came forward as a result of the appeal''.

However, P.c. Venning said, the investigating officer wished to make a further appeal to anyone who arrived at the scene of the accident which occurred just east of Palm Reef Hotel.
