Memorial match for Swan and Campbell
Western Stars Sports Club will hold their annual Randy Swan Memorial Match at BFA Field tomorrow.
Dandy Town Roots will take on a combined under-18 and Premier Division Dandy Town team in memory of defender Swan who died in a car accident in December 2004.
Swan was just 24 when he died, and the club have since set up a scholarship fund in his honour.
Swan, whose number 16 jersey has been retired, also represented North Village and took part in Bermuda's 2006 World Cup preparations with the senior national squad. Dandy Town will also use the occasion to remember player Machai Campbell, who died in a bike accident last year.
Campbell's father Wayne, and former Bermuda player Paul Cann will both play in memory of Machai, who also played for Bermuda's national Under-19 cricket team.
The game will begin at 5.30 p.m. and spectators are welcome.
There will be a reception at Western Stars after the game.
