A member of the teenage motorcycle stunt team which wowed crowds in Bermuda last year at a series of impressive shows has been killed in an accident while participating in a routine last month.

Fifteen year old Abbas Malik, one of the 38-strong Honda Imps who are all aged between five and 16, died after he fell from his 250 cc motorcycle and then was hit by another bike as the team performed a complex manoeuvre at a stunt show at Colchester in England on July 27.

He was taken unconscious to hospital with injuries to his head, chest and legs but died about two hours later.
