Wildcats 1 Ravens 2

Champions Ravens extended their winning streak that now stretches over a season and a half with this 2-1 win over Wildcats, courtesy of goals from Taryn Pringle and Jessica Hollis.

In a hotly contested match, Pringle netted in the 17th minute from penalty corner before Hollis converted another penalty corner three minutes later.

Wildcats pulled a goal back through Zina Jones just before the half.

Swallows 1 Canaries 1

Lisa Marshall cancelled out Liz Stewart's early opener to help the Canaries force a draw against Swallows.

Stewart struck in the fourth minute to put Swallows up, a lead they would carry into the half before Marshall grabbed the equaliser in the 49th.

B League

Longtails/Canaries 2

Budgies 7

Selina DeSilva netted twice as Budgies romped to a convincing win.

Budgies captain Stephanie Adderley got the scoring underway when she netted in the third minute from a penalty corner and Francesca Cacace added the side's second in the 27th.

Angela Dunstan made it 3-0 in the 29th before Jay Richardson got Longtails/Canaries on the scoresheet in the 30th.

Anna Terceira made it 4-1 three minutes after the restart before DeSilva grabbed two with her first in the 46th and second in the 58th.

Keishae Robinson found the net seconds after DeSilva grabbed her second and Richardson finished the scoring to make the final score 7-2.

Bluebirds 3 Swallows 0

Three second-half goals secured all three points for Bluebirds.

Liz Wright grabbed the all important opening goal in the 42nd minute before Tracy MacPhee added a second in the 53rd minute from a penalty corner.

Sarah Smith then made the points safe when she scored in the 65th minute.

Men's League

Rebels 3 Upstarts 0

Rebels got goals from three different scorers to beat Upstarts 3-0 in the Men's League.

Ross Wilyman got the first for the winners in the 30th minute from a penalty corner while Andrew Travis also converted a penalty stroke in the 59th. John Portelli rounded out the scoring in the 63rd minute.

Chameleons 8 Panthers 2

A rampant Paul Deans put the Panthers to the sword as Chameleons were sent crashing to an 8-2 loss.

Deans scored a remarkable five goals to guide his side to the victory with his first two coming before many of the players on the pitch had touched the ball.

It was quickly 2-0 as Deans struck in the second and third minutes.

Manny Faria pulled one back for Panthers to make it 2-1 before skipper Richard Cox made it 3-1for Chameleons from a penalty corner.

Goals from Billy Spencer and Tim Goodyer made it 5-1 while Jerome Overbey got on the scoresheet for Panthers to make it 5-2.

Deans then scored the game remaining three goals in the 42nd, 56th and 69th minutes.
