early morning break-in at A.S. Cooper's warehouse.

Spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said Police attended a report of an alarm activation at the warehouse on Mill's Creek in Pembroke around 1 a.m. and discovered the suspect in the area.

Police were also investigating a break-in at a residence on Southampton Road.

The incident was reported to Police on Sunday after smoke was seen coming from the house by a neighbour.

Police and the Fire Service attended the scene where it was discovered that a small amount of fire damage had been caused to a couch and the carpet in the house.

P.c. Venning said nothing was believed to have been stolen and investigators have not ruled out arson.
