knife-wielding, masked robber entered her home and robbed her.

The woman said she was on the telephone at her Langton Lane home on Sunday afternoon when the line went dead.

Moments later a man, with his face covered by a T-shirt, entered her front room brandishing a small kitchen knife.

He then entered another room, picked up her bag and removed her wallet which contained a quantity of cash. The man then motioned for the woman to go toward the bedroom area but she refused at which point he allegedly threw her bag, wallet and knife onto a couch and escaped through an unsecured back door.

He is described as being skinny, five-feet, nine-inches tall, light-skinned with dark brown eyes and a short haircut. He is approximately 140 to 160 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt and faded blue jeans.
