after propositioning him in a St. George's nightclub.

The man told Police a 30-year-old Southampton woman stole his wallet from his trousers while she was caressing him and then left the premises.

In a separate report, a Police reported that a 15-year-old Warwick youth was arrested after he was seen stripping parts off of a parked motor cycle in Warwick.

Police said both incidents, which occurred last Tuesday, were under investigation.

THUMBS UP FOR ARCHITECTS PLN Thumbs up for architects A firm of architects has been granted permission to add an extension to their Pembroke offices.

Mr. Richard Bath applied to the Development Applications Board to build a two-storey extension, including a new foyer area at Broadway House, on Crow Lane.

In other applications approved by the DAB, Mr. Frederick Phillips was given the go-ahead to build a new woodcraft shop and sales room.

It will be built on Stadium Lane, Warwick, although the DAB is insisting the area is landscaped within three months of an Occupancy Permit being granted.

The DAB has also approved a planning application from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Parks for a new playground and picnic area in Mullet Bay Park.

As well as the picnic area, a new parking lot will be built, a concrete and asphalt exercise path and toilets.

WARWICK MEETING ON DRUGS, CRIME DGS Warwick meeting on drugs, crime Warwick parishioners are urged to attend a meeting next week to tackle the problem of drugs and crime in the parish.

Top of the agenda is whether the central parish needs a Police sub-station of its own.

Present at the public meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 27 at St. Mary's Church Hall will be Police Commissioner Mr. Colin Coxall, Senator the Hon.

Gerald Simons and Warwick MPs the Hon. Quinton Edness, Dr. Ewart Brown, the Hon. Irving Pearman and Mr. Alex Scott.

Mr. Edness urged all members of the Warwick community to attend the meeting.

MILLS RESIGNS HER POST DGS Mills resigns her post Executive director of Fairhavens, a residential facility for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, is resigning after two years in the post.

Mrs. Gloria Mills, who has previous experience in the field of drug addiction in the United States, handed in her resignation in May.

The facility is now looking to replace her. Chairman of the board of directors at Fairhavens, Mrs. Patricia Lynn said yesterday the post, which does not impose a fixed term, would be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.

The executive director is responsible for the day-to-day running of the facility including programme development and management.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS AWD Deadline for nominations Police yesterday announced that nominations for its second annual "Outstanding Youth Awards'' must be in by the end of next month.

The awards -- presented to a male and female in each of the nine parishes -- honour young adults for scholastic, sporting and other personal achievements, with emphasis on character, attitude, behaviour, and community service.

Candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 24 by July 31.

On August 17, the Police Commissioner will present a cedar plaque and certificate to each recipient of the award.

Nomination forms can be obtained from secondary schools, Police stations, and post offices around the Island.
