Staff at accountancy firm KPMG got creative when they found a unique way to raise money for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund last week. They auctioned off personal prizes by the firm?s partners, including dinners cooked by the senior partner and his wife and in the process managed to raise a whopping $23,742. Money raised from the partner?s silent auction during which time prizes offered by the firm?s 13 partners were put up for bidding was $14,805. Prizes included sunset champagne cruises, one-day extra vacations, holidays in New Hampshire, Chinese dinners and wine tasting parties. A further $3,937 was raised by the sale of a raffle.
