The three matches see Leo Custodio taking on Norman Minors, last year's finalist, Eardley Jones, playing Herbie Minors and Barry DeCouto meeting Lloyd James.

The team of Hav Trott, Joan Wood, Ketih Cassidy and Shorty Churm shot a 57 in the four-ball, best-ball stroke-play event. The Devonshire South team of Sandy Hutchings, George Hutchings, Leon Nearon and Kevin Petty snatched the runner-up spot over the BGA team of Alfreda Samuels, Chris Garland, Bob Legere and McNeil Simmons on retrogression after both teams scored 58.
