Investigation into rubbish blaze
A burning palm tree and a pile of debris in the Fentons Drive, Pembroke area, had to be put out by the Bermuda Fire Service yesterday morning.
Around 4.45 a.m., Police officers attended the scene only to find the burning rubbish.
The cause of the fire is unknown, however, Police said they have dealt with several fires in that area, recently.
An investigation is underway.
Two bikes stolen within 24 hours
Two motorcycles were reportedly taken without their owner's consent during a 24-hour period, Police reported.
Between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. yesterday, an orange Yamaha V50, license number 139 AF, from Tamarind Vale, Warwick and a blue Yamaha V80, number BL 841, from Court Street, were taken.
In addition, a motorcycle reported stolen from Sandys Parish on Monday night and a auxiliary cycle stolen from Reid Street last Thursday, were recovered by Police on Tuesday morning. They were found in Southampton and Warwick, respectively.
