Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Lightbourne, of Fourth Avenue East, Cavendish Heights, Devonshire, are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Terrylynn Lightbourne.

Terrylynn graduated on May 21, 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Dalhousie University.

Terrylynn also received the QE II Health Sciences Centre Award for Professional Practice in Nursing. selected by her peers, the award recognises the graduating BScn basic student who demonstrated the qualities of professional practice.

The recipient epitomises the standards of nursing practice of accountability and responsibility, continuing competence and application of knowledge and advocacy and the CNA code of ethics for registered nurses.

In attendance were her parents Wilbur and Edith Lightbourne, her brother Timothy Lightbourne, her aunt and uncle Ruth and George Hodlipp and friends of the family from Nova Scotia.

Terrylynn will be working at the QE II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.
