Accident victim now in stable condition

A 32-year-old Hamilton Parish man, who was fighting for his life after receiving internal injuries in a bike accident on Sunday morning, is now in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

A nursing supervisor told yesterday evening that the man?s condition was improving.

Police attended the single vehicle accident at 12.10 a.m. Sunday near the junction of Dundonald Street and Serpentine Road.

The man was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of internal injuries, which Police said were life threatening.

Further details about the incident were unclear.

Police have appealed for witnesses, or anyone with information on the accident, to contact P.c. Scott Devine on 295-0011.
