Jonathan Crellin has been appointed as general manager of the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, effective October 23.

In this role, Mr. Crellin will manage the operation of this 410 room historic property, known as the ?Pink Palace?.

?His background in marketing and operations at historic properties will provide the strategic direction to make this landmark hotel a tremendous success and one of the flagships for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. We are looking forward to welcoming him to the Island.?

Mr. Crellin brings more than 20 years of experience to this position, including ten years at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

Prior to his appointment as general manager at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, Mr. Crellin was the hotel manager, overseeing the operation of the rooms division, as well as the sales and marketing functions.

In September 1996, Mr. Crellin joined the Fairmont Copley Plaza as director of sales and marketing, managing all aspects of sales, including banquets, catering, conference services, public relations and advertising.
