Butterfield up 12.7% on NYSE

Two thousand shares of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent company of The Royal Gazette, changed hands on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but with no change to the closing price of $5.
Ascendant Group limited voluntarily withdrew from its BSX listing of common shares following its acquisition by Algonquin Power & Utilities Group.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up $3.57, or 12.78 per cent, at $31.51.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 1,895.72, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 96.22 points, or 6.49 per cent, at 1,578.18.
