Western Stars fielded just eight players and suffered an eight-wicket defeat against Cuts in First Division play at Somerset CC on Saturday.

Justin Robinson topped Stars' batting with 48 while Wayne Campbell struck 33 and Tre Manders 31.

Dionte Darrell enjoyed a fine day with the ball, taking five wickets for 28 runs in nine overs to lead Cuts' bowlers as Stars were dismissed in 29.5 overs.

Cuts required just 11.3 overs to reach victory, Darrell leading the response with a brisk 74 not out while Kavon Fubler was undefeated on 12.
