Big Catch ---Mitch Rawlins shows off his 50 lb grouper that he caught early todayPhoto David Skinner

Firefighter and fisherman Mitch Rawlins enjoyed blazing success yesterday ? when he reeled in a whopping 50-pound rockfish.

The ace angler ripped some skin off a finger as he spent ten minutes snaring the giant grouper.

Asked where he landed the prize catch, he remained tight-lipped and added: "If I said there was a pot of gold on Horseshoe Bay, how many people would be there tomorrow?"

It is not the first time Mr. Rawlins, 37, has captured such a specimen at a top secret location. In 2002 and 1992 he hauled in 102-pounders, and in 1999 he captured a 70-pounder.
