selling health and fitness equipment.

The 750 square foot new store, called the International Health and Fitness Shop, is located on Par-la-Ville Road, on the other side of the Wok Restaurant.

It is just around the corner from the International Sports Shop, which is situated on Bermudiana Road.

Owner Mr. Bill Minors said he had been looking for suitable premises for a while.

"Until now we've had to take people out to our warehouse at Mills Creek to show them our fitness equipment,'' he said. "We just didn't have room to store it at our site in Bermudiana Road.

"It was not a very satisfactory way of trying to sell our products and was time consuming.'' The new store will stock weights equipment, electronic tread mills, exercise bikes, benches, skipping ropes and more.

"We cater for for people interested in all aspects of health and fitness,'' said Mr. Minors. "We stock many types of different apparatus.'' Mr. Minors said he hopes to pick up much of the health club business trade.
