Planning permission for Airport renovations

Department of Airport Operations to conduct interior renovations and construct a stairwell on Kindley Field Road.

Before any building can take place, however, a separate application for a building permit must be made and approved.

In other DAB news, Waterloo Properties Limited had their application to renovate a yard intended for use as a commercial and service area for Hamilton Princess, deferred.

Similarly, the Stirling Company of Curving Avenue, Pembroke, had their application to build an automotive showroom deferred pending receipt of additional information.

Meanwhile Dr. Mohamed Hamza of Paget, received planning permission to convert a building on Point Finger Road from a residential to a doctor's office with enough space for two physicians.

Prior to any building the DAB ruled, he must apply for a separate building permit which must be approved before any construction can begin.

The Nile Trust of Paget received conditional approval for renovations of the interior that will create two residential and three tourist accommodations.

Before building can occur a permit must be applied for and approved.

Additionally the board ruled that the site must be landscaped and provisions must be made for the disposal of storm water.
