Thieves hit another two churches over the weekend but walked away empty handed.

Police are investigating break-ins at both the Somerset Seventh-day Adventist church and Beulah Tabernacle in Sandys.

The Seventh-day Adventist church was broken into sometime between Saturday night and 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

The thief searched the premises and ransacked rooms but nothing was taken.

A member of the Beulah Tabernacle church discovered it had been broken into on Sunday morning.

The thief made a search, according to the Police report, opening drawers and looking for valuables and cash.

The church does not keep cash on the site, however, and the thief was thwarted.
