Swimmer Darren Woods put in an impressive performance at a recent meet in the UK.

Woods, who swims for the Wycombe District team in Buckinghamshire in the South of England, was competing in the Ealing Open Meet.

Swimming in the boys 16-year-old division, he finished first in the 100 metre butterfly in a time of 1;04.52, second in the 100 metre freestyle in 58.67 and third in the 100 metre backstroke in 1:08.75.

Woods also competed in the heats of the 200 metre individual medley, coming ninth in 2:33.83, the 200 metre freestyle where he came seventh clocking 2:14.92, fifth in the 200 metre backstroke in 2:35.85.

Woods was second overall in his age group at the meet, while his team finished on top of the standings.
