Butterfield Ladydragonz walked away with the netball title.The Ladydragonz pipped nearest rivals Digicel for the gold medal on goal difference in the rain- hit tournament that saw yesterday’s round of matches at Bernard Park cancelled due to the inclement weather.Ladydragonz and Digicel both finished with 12 points.Claiming the bronze medal were Bermuda Police on goal difference over fourth-placed Validus who also finished with nine points.Ladydragonz went unbeaten in the three matches they played on Saturday.They beat Renaissance Renrenets 21-6 in their opening match, edged Bermuda Police 20-17 in an evenly fought contest in their second match before thrashing last-placed Belco 30-9 in the third match.Digicel also remained unbeaten in their three matches to claim the silver medal.They recorded victories against Validus (16-8), Partner Re Panthers (15-10) and BMA Enforcers (9-5).Bermuda Police managed two wins against Belco (17-5) and Renaissance Renrenets (18-10) with their sole loss arriving against the tournament champions.A total of eight teams took part in the tournament.
