Air Canada cancels flights as pilots' strike continues
last night.
No Air Canada planes will leave the Island until next Tuesday at the earliest.
Passengers are now being urged to contact the airline or their travel agent to re-book their flights.
But a spokeswoman urged customers not to contact other airlines directly in case seats were double-booked.
Services cancelled are the Bermuda-to-Toronto flights today, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday.
Tomorrow's flight to Halifax has also been scrapped.
People who re-book through their travel agents or directly through Air Canada will be given a voucher to present at the airport.
Customers who change their reservations over the phone, calling Air Canada on 1-800-776-3000, can collect their vouchers from the Air Canada desk at the Bermuda International Airport.
Air Canada's Hamilton office will be open until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. tomorrow.
Passengers can use the airline's airport desk after 9 a.m. on Sunday and Monday.
