40-year-old Douglas Anfossi of Pembroke by Police yesterday.

Mr. Anfossi's lifeless body was pulled from the waters of Fairyland's Creek, near Keybay Lane, Pembroke, at about 9.30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital later.

A Police spokesman said there was no indication of foul play.

TWO TEENS SET UPON BY GANG CRM Two teens set upon by gang Two male teenagers were attacked around midnight Sunday at an Aeolia Drive, Devonshore home by a number of other youths apparently over a personal dispute, the Police reported yesterday.

The 16 and 17 year olds sustained swelling and cuts to the head and face during the attack which allegedly went on for 30 to 45 minutes.

Both teens were sent to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

MAN FINED FOR CANNABIS POSSESSION CTS Man fined for cannabis possession A man received a $300 fine after pleading guilty to possessing a small amount of cannabis yesterday in Magistrates' court.

"Are you a drug addict?'' Magistrate Ed King asked Abedngo Trott, 24, of Augustine Lane, Pembroke.

No, said, Trott before adding: "I don't consider marijuana a drug.'' The law does, Mr. King pointed out before handing down the fine.

Trott was approached by plainclothes narcotics officers on February 8 of last year after they saw him drop an object.

When asked what it was, Trott replied "just a spliff''.

The homemade cigarette was retrieved and, after testing, found to contain tobacco and .08g of cannabis.

MASKED RAIDER BREAKS INTO HOMES CRM Masked raider breaks into homes Two Southampton homes were disrupted on Sunday night in incidents which Police believe may be related.

The occupants of a Sun Valley Road residence were stirred by a noise inside their home at approximately 1 a.m. and the husband found an unknown male wearing a towel or sheet over his face.

The intruder fled on foot and nothing appeared to have been stolen.

An hour later, an unkown male was found in the kitchen of a residence on nearby Colony Valley Road.

Police suspect he may have gained entry through an unsecure window.

Nothing was found missing from the scene.

POLICE CARRY OUT EARLY MORNING DRUGS BUST CRM Police carry out early morning drugs bust An early morning drug bust on Saturday at a Smith's Parish home uncovered plant-like material, white powder and a white, rock-like substance hidden under a dog kennel.

The materials were seized at the Club's Road residence shortly before 6 a.m.

and a 27-year-old St. George's man, a 21-year-old Pembroke woman, a 22-year-old St. George's man and a 27-year-old Smith's Parish man were all arrested under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
