approval to build an additional ten condominiums on the company's Pembroke property on Robin Hood Drive.

David P. Gutteridge, a principal in the company and a Bermuda Home executive vice president, said the development was an ongoing one based on demand. The private company has approval in principal to construct 88 condominiums on the Mount Langton Hill property. Currently there are two blocks of 16 condos already built on the site.

CHAPMAN STAYS PUT AT ESSO BUC Chapman stays put at Esso Bruce Chapman has decided not to give up his interests in Riddell's Bay Esso.

Mr. Chapman, who has operated the Middle Road, Southampton station for the past five years, had previously said he was leaving to pursue his other business interests -- massage therapy and holistic treatment.

He said differences of opinion with Esso Bermuda had been resolved and he had decided to stay on.

GLAA SALUTES SMALL BUSINESSES BUC Gala salutes small businesses The Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation is holding a dinner to pay tribute to the Island's entrepreneurs. A Gala Tribute To Bemruda's Small Businesses will be held at 6.30 p.m. April 4, at the Princess Hotel.

ELKIN HIT BY NEW COURT AWARD CTS Elkin hit by new court award Investor and Bermuda-resident Jacob J. Elkin has been hit by another multi-million dollar court award against him.

This time the Supreme Court awarded $4.3 million to Port Head Ltd. in the company's writ against Mr. Elkin. Earlier in February the court awarded the Bank of Bermuda about $8.23 million against Mr. Elkin. The bank then refused to comment on the case or whether it would be able to collect the money. Mr.

Elkin could not be reached yesterday.
