Spokesman Sgt. John Dale said he was grateful for the response received so far in a Police appeal for information concerning the controversial "Master's Got a New Nigger'' posters put up last Friday around the Island.

He said any further information would be treated in strictest confidence.

People with information can telephone the Police code-a-phone at 295-1140 or 299-4291.

The political hate posters showed a picture of white Environment Minister the Hon. Ann Cartwright DeCouto shaking the hand of black Senator Jerome Dill after their recent United Bermuda Party primary victory in Pembroke West Central.
