Jogger and bike collide
A jogger was taken to hospital with a concussion after he and a motorist collided on Crow Lane.
According to Police, both the jogger and the motorist were travelling east when the accident happened at the junction with Lane Hill.
Said a spokesperson: "The jogger, a 25-year-old Pembroke man, was knocked to the ground and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of a concussion.
"The rider and passenger of the motorcycle also fell to the ground. The rider, a 30-year-old Pembroke man, complained of soreness to his right leg while the female pillion passenger, a five-year-old Pembroke girl, sustained cuts and abrasions to the left side of her face."
The motorcycle received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into the incident are underway
Bobcat is amongst 15 vehicles stolen
An excavating machine was one of 15 vehicles stolen over a seven-day period this month.
According to Police, one vehicle each was taken from Hamilton Parish, Warwick and Southampton; two were taken from St. George's and Devonshire and eight from Pembroke in the week of May 11 through 18.
Five of the vehicles have since been recovered.
Police also continue to advise motorists to slow down and to use care, caution and courtesy on the roads.
Drivers are urged to wear seat belts at all times, and motorcyclists are warned to fasten helmets and avoid making a third lane.
Eighteen collisions resulting in injury were reported over the same seven-day period.
And 44 damage-only collisions were also reported and seven arrests made on suspicion of impaired driving in that week.
Said a Police spokesperson: "The majority of the vehicles removed were either auxiliary cycles or motorcycles, with one 'Bobcat' excavating machine also reported stolen during the period."
Teenager remains missing
Police continue to search for missing teenager Tynieka Bean.
According to officers, the 17-year-old was reported missing May 1, but has recently been seen in the Somerset area.
Said a spokesperson: "She is described as dark-skinned, approximately 5ft 6in tall with dark brown hair and reddish brown highlights, weighing around 200 pounds."

Flat screen TV stolen
Thieves made off with cash and a flat screen TV from a Southampton home this week.
According to Police, an unknown culprit entered the Aurora Lane home sometime between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday while it was unoccupied.
Said a spokesperson: "The culprit stole a 42-inch Panasonic flat screen TV and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway."
Frenchman missing
Police are continuing their appeal for information concerning missing French national Mehdi David Yahi.
The 30-year-old arrived in Bermuda alone, on a British Airways flight on January 25. He was last seen around 8 p.m. on January 31 at the Heather Nova concert at the Fairmont Southampton.
Police describe him as "a white male, approximately 5ft 7in tall of slim build, clean shaven with black hair".
