Sonesta salutes Tucker
Sonesta Hotels has paid tribute to Dennis Tucker, who has just resigned as general manager and vice president of Sonesta Beach Resort after 27 years with the company.
Mr. Tucker told The Royal Gazette it was the perfect opportunity to seek a new career after 40 years in hospitality, and that he was leaving the company, and new hotel owner Clifford Schorer, on good terms.
Sonesta Hotels executive vice-president Jacqueline Sonnabend said: "It is with sadness we accept the resignation of Dennis Tucker.
"Dennis has been with the Sonesta Beach Resort for 27 years, and served in various positions in accounting and operations before his promotion to managing director in 1998.
"We are most grateful to Dennis for his hard work, leadership and many contributions to the hotel's success.
"He is a true hospitality professional and has been a pleasure to work with throughout the years. Dennis' contributions to the success of the hotel will be felt for a long time and he will be missed by all the Sonesta family."
