BSX ends week down 3.7 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index last week fell 3.7 points to close at 3,071.57.The largest volume of trading was seen at Butterfield Bank with 43,553 shares trading but no change to the bank's share price of $42.Bermuda Commercial Bank saw trading of 1,000 shares while investors pushed down shares 55 cents to $10.95.

Devonshire Industries ? the parent company of Bermuda Paint ? saw investors buy and sell 200 shares while pushing up the value 50 cents to $9.

In the insurance sector Argus investors traded 120 shares at a price of $26.45 and BF&M Ltd. saw 16,600 shares change hands but no price to the share price of $12.50.
