The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 26.58 points yesterday to close at 4,918.99.

On a quiet day of trading on the Exchange, Butterfield Bank fell 50 cents to close at $59.50 as investors traded in 1,100 shares.

The only other activity saw West Hamilton trade in 800 shares to close unchanged at $65.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $117,450.00 and the overall volume of shares was 1,900.
