Legends line up

Local fans will enter a time warp on Sunday when some of the Island?s ?legendary? footballers again grace the spacious National Sports Centre ahead of Bermuda?s World Cup first round qualifying clash with Montserrat.

For those who missed last month?s age-defying exhibition match featuring the likes of Larry (Cracks) Darell, Edgar (Dillie Dick) Smith, Cyril (Dago) Steede, Granville (the cat) Nusum, Fred (Pinks) Lewis and Coolridge (Bumla) Bell, Sunday?s contest will again provide local football fans another chance to witness a blast from the past.

Poised to renew previous rivalries are two select sides heralding from the east and west ends of the Island.

The West select will be coached by former West Ham United star Clyde (Bunny) Best and former PHC Zebras coach Leroy (Nibs) Lewis while former Social Club Bluebird Earl (Gabby) Hart has been designated as coach of the East select.
