Family travel from Island for ceremony
On May 21, 2001 at Harkness Hall Quadrangle, Clark Atlanta University, Miss Tanisha Nadia Baisden of Duck's Puddle, Hamilton Parish graduated with a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Accounting.
Miss Baisden is a graduate of the Berkeley Institute (1995) and The Williston Northampton School (1996) where she did a year of post-graduate studies. During Miss Baisden's year at Williston, she was on the Girls Varsity cross country Team and represented her school in numerous New England Preparatory School meets. Miss Baisden was a member of the Williston African American Awareness Association.
At Clark Atlanta University, Miss Baisden was a member of the Young Brothers and Sisters Group, and was active in fundraising to help provide meals for less fortunate children and played and active part in the Accounting Club at Clark Atlanta University. Those attending included her mother Ms. Pamela Baisden of Bermuda, aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Michael Fraser and cousins Candaisy and Roxanne, Mrs. Beatrice Sandiford and cousins Crystal and Christian all of the US.
